Susan De La Paz, Dr, PhD

Prof. Susan De La Paz is a leading Professor of Special Education at the University of Maryland, specializing in literacy development for students with learning disabilities. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Vietnam in 2022, where she focused on enhancing literacy outcomes for students with learning challenges. Recognized with the 2024 Distinguished Researcher Award by the American Educational Research Association (AERA), she has contributed extensively to research in writing instruction and special education. At VinUniversity, she serves as a Global Faculty Affiliate, enriching educational development in the College of Health Sciences and as guest speaker for Nursing Programs in lectures on Nursing Care for Students with Learning Disabilities
