Biography
Dr. Phung Tuyet Lan graduated in medicine from Pediatric Institute in Leningrad, Russia in 1992. Coming back to Vietnam she started to work at National Children Hospital from 1994. She completed 1 year of pediatric residency at Saint Antoine Hospital, Lille, France, then one year of fellowship in pediatric hematology- oncology at Rennes University Hospital, France. She received Diploma of Pediatric Oncology at Paris University XI and PhD Degree at Hanoi Medical College.
She was appointed as Vice Head of Oncology Department at National Children Hospital from 2009. With the great ambition to develop the domain of Pediatric Oncology, she and her colleagues successfully initiated the model of multidisciplinary tumor board meetings at National Children Hospital. This led to the advances in technical procedures and protocols for the diagnosis and the treatment of solid tumors in children.
She joined the Vinmec International Hospital Times City in 2016 and continues to dedicate to developing the Pediatric Oncology and Pediatrics.
