Biography
Dr. Hanh is a lecturer at the College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity, with professional expertise in oncology supportive care, symptom management, evidence-based nursing practice, and nursing competency development. She completed her PhD in Oncology Nursing Care at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia in 2025, focusing on non-pharmacological nursing interventions for chemotherapy-induced diarrhoea and constipation and the development of practical nurse-led symptom management strategies.
Before joining VinUniversity, Dr. Hanh built a strong foundation in clinical nursing practice and education through her work at Viet Duc University Hospital, one of Vietnam’s leading tertiary surgical hospitals. She contributed to teaching in surgical nursing training programs, updating and sharing evidence-based knowledge, supporting nurses to implement research projects, and strengthening professional competencies in neurosurgical nursing. She also gained experience in higher education teaching through module-based lecture development, supervision of student research and thesis writing, and organizing conferences and workshops focused on undergraduate nursing education.
Her academic portfolio includes peer-reviewed publications in oncology supportive care, patient-reported outcomes, nursing interventions, and clinical nursing research, alongside reference books supporting patient education and professional nursing practice. Dr. Hanh has also been recognized with the Dang Van Ngu Prize for publishing the highest-impact-factor paper in nursing science at Hanoi Medical University, reflecting the quality and international relevance of her research outputs.
As part of her continuing professional development in Australia, Dr. Hanh has passed the NCLEX-RN examination (Stage 1 – MCQ) within the NMBA/AHPRA Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA) pathway. She views this milestone as an opportunity to positively contribute to VinUniversity’s nursing education mission by motivating students to pursue internationally recognized credentials and to explore professional opportunities in Australia.
