Phan Thi Kieu Trang, PhD
College of Health Sciences
Assistant Professor
Biography
Dr. Trang received her Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology from the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) in 2014. She went on to earn her Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Life Science and Environment System Engineering from Kitakyushu University, Japan, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. From 2020 to 2023, she was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, supported by the Young Researcher Grant. Since 2021, she has been working as a researcher at the Vinmec Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Technology, VinUniversity.
Her current research focuses on translational studies using mesenchymal stem/stromal cell therapies and exploring the therapeutic potential of extracellular vesicles for unmet medical needs. She is also a member of the CAR T-cell team, contributing to the development of Vietnam’s first point-of-care CAR T-cell therapy.
