Biography
Pham Thanh Thuy is a lecturer of Faculty of English Language Teacher Education, University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University (Hanoi). She obtained her Master of Education, TESOL International degree from Monash University, Australia thanks to Endeavour Postgraduate Award sponsored by Australian Government. Apart from that, she also won one of the four first prizes in Cambridge English Teacher Competition (2012) and attended a short course in Teaching Business English at Homerton College, Cambridge University, UK. With over 10 years of teaching students at different levels and from various backgrounds, Thuy is interested in conducting research on teachers’ professional development and learners’ autonomy. She got a grant from Small Grants Fund in 2017 to conduct a training course for primary school teachers in Quang Binh province and some travel grants from IDP and RELO to attend CamTESOL international conferences in 2012 and 2018. Her desire is to help learners maximize their potential and outcome.
