Biography
Dr. Tran Thi Oanh is a medical scientist specializing in medical technology, molecular medicine, and translational research. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from Hanoi Medical University in 2010 and later completed her M.S. (2021) and Ph.D. (2024) in Medicine at Taipei Medical University, supported by a scholarship from the Taiwan National Science and Technology Council (NSTC).
Before her doctoral studies, she worked for over 10 years as a Medical Technologist at Bach Mai Hospital, one of Vietnam’s leading medical centers. During her Ph.D., she received competitive travel grants and academic honors, including the Excellent Poster Award, and co-authored more than 10 peer-reviewed publications. Notably, her first review article in Briefings in Functional Genomics (Oxford Academic) received the Editor’s Choice award in 2024.
Her research interests include stem cell therapy, gene technology, and the application of artificial intelligence in medicine, particularly bioinformatics and machine learning.
