Biography
Ms. Tam Nguyen is a dedicated and accomplished healthcare education professional with over eight years of experience in program coordination and management. She began her journey with VinUniversity’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs in 2020 as the Program Coordinator for Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and Pediatrics. This role highlighted her ability to oversee complex operations across multiple residency programs. Since then, she has been instrumental in the management of the ACGME-I accredited Pediatrics Residency Program, where her responsibilities include the whole cycle of curriculum – from admissions, coordinating/ implementation, evaluations/assessments and curriculum review. She has also played a key role in faculty development activities, handling both the financial and administrative aspects of the residency programs as well.
Over the years, Ms. Tam has earned recognition for her management, organizational skills, and her success in maintaining ACGME-I accreditation for the Pediatrics Residency Program. Prior to VinUniversity, she had several years’ experience working in nursing and medical education and in both Vietnamese-own companies and international organizations. Her career trajectory reflects continuous growth, and she was promoted to GME Manager due to her demonstrated expertise in managing medical education programs.
With an academic background in International Relations and Law, combined with her extensive experience in medical education management, Ms. Tam’s strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills make her an invaluable asset to the GME and CHS teams.
