Biography
Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc Nha specializes in next-generation network security, quantum computing, IoT intrusion detection, and cryptographic systems, with a strong focus on integrating artificial intelligence into cybersecurity. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Vietnam, in 2011, his Master’s in Information Technology (Networks) with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, in 2020, and his Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Deakin University, Australia, in 2024. Dr. Nguyen has published extensively in high-impact journals, including IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing and IEEE Internet of Things Journal, with some of his research funded by the Department of Defense, Australia. A recipient of multiple awards, he was twice listed on QUT’s Dean’s List for Excellent Academic Performance and received the 2022 School of Information Technology Higher Degree by Research Award at Deakin University. He also earned a prize in the 2022 Country-to-Country CTF Cybersecurity Challenge hosted by MIT. Actively involved in mentoring, he has guided Ph.D. and Master’s students, contributing to publications and book chapters. Dr. Nguyen is also a reviewer for leading journals such as the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Reliability and has secured grants, including projects on software supply chain security. He holds professional certifications in many critical technologies. With a commitment to advancing research and teaching, Dr. Nguyen continues to contribute significantly to the fields of cybersecurity, cryptography, and network security.
