Biography
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Minh Huong, MD, PhD is a leading Vietnamese expert in Pediatrics, Clinical Immunology, Allergy, and Pediatric Respiratory Medicine. She obtained her PhD in Medicine from Moscow State Medical University (Russian Federation) in 2000 and was appointed Associate Professor in 2013.
She previously held key leadership positions at the National Children’s Hospital of Vietnam, including Deputy Head of Respiratory Department, Head of the Department of Immunology–Allergy–Rheumatology and Vice Director of the hospital. She currently serves as Head of the Department of General Pediatrics at Vinmec Times City International Hospital and is a lecturer in Clinical Immunology and Allergy at VinUniversity.
With over 30 years of clinical and academic experience, her expertise includes asthma, primary immunodeficiency disorders, drug and food allergies, atopic dermatitis, pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, and recurrent respiratory infections. She has supervised numerous postgraduate trainees (10 Master’s, 5 PhD, and 8 Specialist Level II physicians) and authored multiple publications in reputable international journals such as Frontiers in Immunology, Frontiers in Neurology, and Journal of Blood Medicine, as well as co-editing key textbooks in clinical immunology and allergy.
She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Pediatric Association and the Vietnam Respiratory Society, and currently serves as Vice President of the Vietnam Sleep Medicine Society.
