Biography

Dr. Bui Pham Thai Hoa received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Tan Tao University – School of Medicine in 2021. Her graduation thesis focused on the percentage of ischemic stroke etiology in hospitalized patients at Thong Nhat Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City.

She then pursued an Internal Medicine Residency at VinUniversity – College of Health Sciences from 2022 to 2025, with clinical practice experience at Vinmec Times City Hospital, 108 Military Central Hospital, and Bach Mai Hospital in Hanoi. Her residency thesis investigated the distribution of the VExUS grading system and its association and predictive value for adverse events in acute heart failure patients, including a protocol comparison in a Vietnamese cohort.

She participated in international academic programs such as the 2018 clerkship program in Indiana, USA, where she completed internal medicine rotations at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Methodist Hospital and attended workshops at Indiana University School of Medicine – Northwest. She later joined the OMI Vietnam – Weill Cornell Seminars in Cardiology (2024) and Radiology (2025), and an observership program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2025, focusing on endocrinology consultation and acute care for the elderly.
