Key research areas involve the development of AI-driven advanced materials for energy storage, energy conversion, and green chemical production.

1. About Project: Key research areas include understanding and optimization of the catalytic activity of oxide surfaces as anode/cathode materials for e.g. water splitting, fuel cell, rechargeable batteries, etc., 
2. Job Description:

• Support and strengthen the experimental results of lab members through simulations that reveal underlying reaction mechanisms.
• Collaborate with experimentalists to validate computational predictions and propose design strategies for improved oxide catalysts.
• Conduct independent research and contribute to writing high-quality scientific articles, reports, and grant proposals.
• Present research findings at group meetings, conferences, and workshops.
• There are no mandatory teaching duties

1. Qualifications: 

• Postdoctoral Fellow position should hold PhD degree and PhD student position should have Master degree in theoretical chemistry, computational materials science, or a related field.
• Should have extensive experience with density functional theory methods and high-performance computing.
• Should have strong DFT expertise, especially in (electro)catalysis and batteries.
