Job Description

Direct Medical Care:

  • Provide on-site medical care at the VinUni Clinic during regular working hours, addressing accidents, illnesses, and injuries of students and staff.
  • Operate the after-hours medical hotline at the VinUni dormitory, providing medical support and guidance to students in need.
  • Assess and manage medical emergencies, providing first aid and stabilizing patients until further medical assistance is available.
  • Report emergency cases to supervisor in a timely manner.

Referral and Emergency Care:

  • Arrange for student transportation to appropriate medical facilities when necessary.
  • Facilitate referrals to OCP Clinic during regular hours and to Gia Lam General Hospital or Vinmec Times City Hospital (based on student preference and condition) during after-hours emergencies.

Health Screening and Counseling:

  • Organize and conduct annual health check-ups for students.
  • Provide health counseling and guidance to students based on their health check-up results.
  • Monitor and follow up on students with chronic or complex health conditions.

Health Insurance Management:

  • Ensure that all students have appropriate health insurance coverage.
  • Manage the renewal of Vietnamese students‘ health insurance through Vietnam Social Security.
  • Facilitate the purchase of approved health insurance packages for international students.

Food Safety and Hygiene:

  • Collaborate with the Operation Department to monitor and ensure food safety and hygiene standards in campus convenience stores and the canteen.

Vinmec OCP Clinic Administration:

  • Assist with administrative tasks for the Vinmec OCP Clinic, including staff scheduling and marketing support for clinic activities.

Health Education and Communication:

  • Monitor and communicate information about infectious disease outbreaks, including symptoms, prevention, and treatment.
  • Develop and implement health education programs for the school community.

Medication and Equipment Management:

  • Control the inventory of medications and medical supplies, and order additional supplies as needed within budget.
  • Dispose of expired medications according to established procedures.
