The Training of Trainers (ToT) in Clinical Educator Training course

During the period from April 23 to April 25 (and then following-up from May 7 to May 9, 2021) College of Health Sciences of VinUni cooperated with the Ministry of Health (MOH) to host for the first time, a MOH’s certified Training of Trainers (TOT) course on Clinical Teaching Methodology for lecturers from VinUni and 7 public medical universities of Vietnam (Hanoi Medical University, HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University of Medicine, Hai Phong Medical University, Thai Nguyen Medical University, Thai Binh Medical University and Nam Dinh Nursing School). This special training course includes in-class sessions, hands-on teaching of skills, discussion about simulation, and observation of real clinical teaching activities at Vinmec Times City Hospital (performed by our GME Program Directors from University of Pennsylvania). With the advanced facilities and logistic support of VinUni, the first half of the course (April 23-25) has been completed successfully and this helps to spread out the VinUni’s reputation to the community of medical and nursing schools across the country.
