Joining Forces for Community Health: VinUni, Vinmec, and Hanoi Medical University Sign a Strategic Partnership to Develop a Comprehensive Healthcare Ecosystem in Vietnam

Recently, VinUniversity, Vinmec Healthcare System, and Hanoi Medical University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) under the witness of Minister of Health Đào Hồng Lan. The event marks an important milestone in advancing education, research, and healthcare quality, aiming to build a comprehensive and internationally aligned healthcare ecosystem in Vietnam.
Under this partnership, the three institutions will collaborate across key areas to promote comprehensive development in education, research, and clinical practice:
- Education & Training: Co-developing curricula and training materials; facilitating the exchange of faculty, experts, and students.
- Scientific Research: Implementing joint research projects and promoting the application of emerging technologies in medicine.
- Healthcare Workforce Development: Organizing training programs, seminars, workshops, clinical internships, and career connection activities.
- Other Initiatives: Hosting academic forums and scientific conferences, while supporting students through career orientation, internships, and experiential learning.
Through this collaboration, the three institutions, each bringing its unique strengths in education, research, and clinical practice, will jointly develop research groups focused on cutting-edge medical technologies such as AI, Robotics, and Big Data. The partnership will also expand opportunities for clinical training at internationally accredited facilities and foster academic exchange and community engagement activities.
