Biography
Assoc. Prof. Luu Anh Tuan is an internationally recognized researcher in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing. His research focuses on large language models, trustworthy AI, and applied NLP, with the goal of advancing both the scientific foundations and real-world impact of modern AI systems.
He has published more than 140 peer-reviewed papers in top-tier international venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, AAAI, and TACL. He currently serves as an Associate Editor for Computational Linguistics and ACL Rolling Review, and has held leadership roles as Area Chair or Senior Area Chair for major conferences including ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, ICLR, NeurIPS, and ICML.
In addition to his academic contributions, he plays a key role in building large-scale AI research ecosystems across academia and industry. As Chief Operating Officer of the Center for AI Research at VinUniversity, he contributes to strategic research planning, talent development, and international collaboration, with a strong emphasis on trustworthy and locally grounded AI.
