About Panel IV
At the Panel IV of the QUIS18 Conference, the keynote speakers will talk about new advances in service education based on active, experiential, and multidisciplinary learning. In particular, most of updated and innovative teaching approaches used in Sweden, Australia, and Japan will be presented in the session.
About the Speakers
QUIS18 is excited to announce that Professor Bo Edvardsson, Professor Spring Han and Professor David Solnet will lead the conference at the Panel IV.
Professor Bo Edvardsson is Professor of Business Administration and Founder, CTF-Service Research Center and former Vice Rector (until 2018) at Karlstad University. He is an encyclopedic researcher whose research interests concentrated in different areas (incl. New Service Development and Service Innovation; Value Creation Through Service and The Service-Dominant Logic; Complaints Management and Service recovery, and so on). Professor Edvardsson is in the 20222 edition of Top 1000 Scientists in the field of Business and Management, ranked #132 in the World Ranking.
Professor Spring H. Han is the Business Administration Chair, Graduate School of Management, Kyoto University, Japan. Her specialized field is in the service of Marketing and Hospitality Management. Her research focuses on customer-focused methods to deliver value and service excellence, in order to improve performance and the customer experience.
Professor David Solnet is Professor of Service Management and Service Employment in the UQ Business School. His research focuses on service climate, service culture, employee engagement, Generation Y as service workers, and the relationships between management practices, employee attitudes and firm performance. He is internationally recognized for his excellence in research, consulting and teaching. Professor Solnet has published over 50 academic journal articles, which consistently appear in the top journals in his field.
