About the Speakers
Professor Zhao Xiande is JD.COM Chair Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management, Associate Dean (Shenzhen Campus), President of CEIBS Institute of Supply Chain Innovations, Director of CEIBS-ZKH Centre for Innovation in Supply Chains and Services, and Co-Director of the Digital Transformation of Enterprises Course of CEIBS.
Professor Zhao’s expertise is in Operations and Supply Chain Management. His research interests mainly focus on supply chain management and innovation, network-based service and business model innovation, supply chain finance, supply chain integration, digital supply chain, supply chain optimization using big data.
He published five influential books and has published over 180 journal articles in leading journals. He has been recognized as the World’s Most Cited Chinese Researchers published by Elsevier (2014-2019) for six consecutive years and also received more than 10 academic honors, including the Jack Meredith Best Paper Award from the Journal of Operations Management is the best journal in the area of operations management in the world.
Professor Marival Segarra Oña is full Professor of Innovation and Competitiveness at the Business School at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain).
Professor Marival Segarra Ona’s research focuses on sustainability and eco-innovation management, while her teaching revolves around strategy and innovation management. Her expertise in the field is further demonstrated by her involvement as a member of the Jury of the 40th Anniversary Contest of Sustainable Innovations of the European Patent Office in 2013. Her research findings have been published in esteemed journals such as Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, the Journal of Cleaner Production, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, and Science and Engineering Ethics, among others.
Moreover, Professor Segarra has been an associate editor of the Special Issue on Sustainability at the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly. At the European Project Technology Transfer of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), her role is a researcher for the creative industry (AIRT). ICT-21-2016.
Lastly, Professor Lina Zhong is a full professor of Innovation and Competitiveness at the Business School at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). Her research interests primarily revolve around analyzing Tourism Big Data, Regional Planning for destinations, Landscape Architecture design for sites, and Construct design for sites and City Planning. With an impressive 14-year track record, she has accumulated extensive research experience and provided consultancy services in mainland China and Hong Kong. Her interdisciplinary background spans human geography, city planning, destination planning, and recreational design, focusing on regional planning for tourism development and recreational design. She has completed over 40 regional and tourism planning projects in China, including prestigious assignments such as tourism planning for the Great Wall and Hangzhou City.
