Introducing Keynote Speakers for the Panel I
The QUIS18 Conference is approaching quickly. QUIS18 Organizing Team is delighted to introduce two keynote speakers for Panel I: The Future of Services.
Panel I will discuss about how services can be reimagined in a post-pandemic world to enhance human life and society. In the session, participants will have the opportunity to explore the enhancement of service’s reputation and branding (delivered by Professor David Reibstein) and the evolving structure of economies from tangible product based to services based using the ‘ service-dominant logic (delivered by Professor Stephen Vargo).
About The Speakers
Professor David Reibstein is Professor of Marketing at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. He is also known for other roles, including the chairman-elect of the Responsible Research in Business & Management (RRBM), the former chairman of the board of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Executive Director of the Marketing Science Institute (MSI). His research focuses on branding, marketing metrics, product line decisions, and competitive marketing strategies, among other issues. Professor Reibstein has been honored with more than 30 teaching and publishing awards.
Professor Stephen L. Vargo is Professor of Marketing at The University of Oklahoma Michael F. Price College of Business. Prior to entering academics, Professor Vargo had a career in entrepreneurial business and has consulted for a variety of major national, regional and local corporations and governmental agencies. He is currently ranked third in career impact among marketing professors worldwide on the Stanford-Elsevier List. He now serves as editor-in-chief of the AMS Review and as a member of the Board of Governors of the Academy of Marketing Science. In addition, he is also on the editorial/advisory boards for 15 other journals. Until now, Professor Vargo has published over 125 publications and four books.
