VinUni Algorithm Club (VinAC) is an engineering club in VinUni that focuses on building foundational knowledge for students who want to pursue a software engineering career. We aim to promote interests in competitive programming and software engineering disciplines to open opportunities to engineering positions in big tech companies.
Despite being called a “basketball team”, we are a club consisting of different people across all 3 colleges. We want to re-emphasize the VinUni slogan, “University of Excellence, Developing Talents for the Future.” Our club will support and develop the extra-curricular, non-academic skills of students. Moreover, we want to create a safe and vibrant playground for those who share the passion for basketball and thrive to stay healthy throughout their university years and beyond.
VinUni Badminton Club is first and foremost a safe haven where students can immerse themselves in physical activities to alleviate academic stress. Delving deeper, the club is a place where students can enhance their fitness in general, and improve their badminton skills regardless of whether their objective is to have fun, or to play badminton as a competitive sport. Finally, the club wishes to develop members’ soft skills as well as adopting and spreading VinUni’s EXCEL spirit.
VinUni Business Insiders (VBI) is a student-led academic club established for like-minded individuals who want to acquire and share business knowledge. We aim to provide for students a community and environment for gaining business insights from the experts, and from one another. The club acts as a bridge connecting students with the industry, allowing students to observe real business cases for future applications.
VinUni Culture Club (VCC) aims to provide students with deep knowledge about cultural diversity, as well as create a space for students to discuss cross-cultural issues and immerse themselves in diverse cultural experiences.

VinDebate Community is established for VinUnians who are interested in debate and public speaking. By creating a FREWS community for sharing ideas, we aim to help students not only access, but also practice and apply debate into their academic lives.
Founded in 2021, VinUni Finance Society is an academic and career-oriented community dedicated to empowering the youth with solid financial knowledge and resourceful industry insights. We aim at creating a niche society of financial enthusiasts and introducing basic investment knowledge to beginners through training and mutual fund investment practice.
VinUni Football Team wants every member to feel like they are part of a big family. A team means that we can connect to others, show empathy to each other, and improve our skills and abilities together. We also hope to spark the football passion inside each member, gradually developing football so that it will become even more popular for future generations of VinUni students and Staff.
VinUni Hacking Club is a dedicated student society devoted to bettering computer and network security by analyzing, dissecting, and eventually cracking systems. Our club’s main goal is to compete in international cybersecurity competitions, known as CTFs. As well as competing, VinUni Hacking Club also hosts our own competition, which is a challenging and fun competition called VinUniCTF.
VinUni Harmony is founded by a group of first-year students from VinUniversity with an aim to create a community for those who have a strong passion for music. We will learn through weekly practices in the studio, annual music shows, and more. The club has three main activities: VinUniversity event performances, minishows, and VinUni’s Got Talent. Additionally, we have weekly practices to improve member performance, or MVs for special events, as well as musical productions on our own YouTube/ SoundCloud channel. Generally, our club aspires to build a second home where VinUni students can learn and cement their experiences through music.
Vinci House of Visual Arts is the in-house visual arts studio and club where we make it a priority to be sustainable and help students work on their projects to relax, learn, or participate in showcases. At Vinci, we put the artist community first, having workshops led by community members or guest artists for any member of the VinUniversity community. We are also planning excursions, seminars, and open sessions for you to come to work and experience the many styles and techniques of visual art. Our studio is in B108, in the auditorium building. We hope to eventually create a space where everyone can be proud of their creation and elevate the confidence in every product of VinUni’s students.
Kendo is a martial art originating from Japan that trains “the way of the sword”. Our club’s vision is to spread awareness of Kendo throughout our community and be able to participate and achieve meaningful results in city level competitions in Vietnam. While we look for seriousness and commitment, we also value friendliness where members can have fun, feel happy and safe. We welcome anyone without experience and commitment to join us.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of VinUniversity (HCYU of VinUni) (Tiếng Việt: Đoàn Thanh niên Cộng sản Hồ Chí Minh trường Đại học VinUni) is a direct branch of HCYU of Ha Noi City – part of the largest social-political organization of Vietnamese youth. Members of the Executive Committee of the Union are elected through a Congress, which takes place twice per 5 years. The Union operates under the regulations of the HCYU, and the directions from the university and HCYU of Ha Noi City.
The Union’s mission is to foster patriotism and social responsibilities among Union members and youth in the university, through volunteer activities and youth movement organized by HCYU of VinUni and Ha Noi City.
