Job Description:

VinUni Center for Environmental Intelligence (CEI) proudly introduces an exclusive opportunity for postdoctoral researchers to be a pivotal part of our flagship project Smart Charging for Electric Vehicles Project in Vietnam. This pioneering initiative is geared towards developing intelligent charging solutions that harmonize with Vietnam’s unique energy requirements, ensuring a sustainable future.

We are actively seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher with a rich academic background, profound analytical skills, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to delve deep into the realm of smart charging, explore innovative methodologies, and significantly impact Vietnam’s energy landscape.

Research Focus:

  • Development of next-generation algorithms for energy-efficient charging.
  • Real-time consumption pattern analysis using advanced data analytics.
  • Scalable smart charging solutions suitable for Vietnam’s diverse energy demands.
  • Integration of green energy sources with our smart charging systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading specialized research modules and contributing to the project’s overarching goals.
  • Mentoring PhD candidates, VinUni undergraduates, and supporting their research endeavors.
  • Publishing findings in reputed journals and representing CEI at international conferences.
  • Collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders for practical implementations.
  • Review and edit manuscripts, publish research findings in high-impact journals and present results at conferences.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong background in AI technology, including optimization, machine learning, and natural language processing.
  • Proven track record of relevant research in energy systems or electric vehicle infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with team members and present research findings.
  • Strong publication record in high-impact journals or conference proceedings.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This is a one-year postdoctoral position, with the possibility of extension based on funding availability and performance.
