[Job Opportunity] Scientific Content Editor

Position Summary

VinUniversity is looking for a Scientific Content Editor to help us create scientific communication contents to improve scientific communication, and bring the latest research at VinUniversity to general readers.

Responsibilities and Scope of Work

  • Report to the Head of Research Management
  • Create content for new and ongoing research projects
  • Summarize key findings from research works and published papers
  • Make research findings accessible to general readers
  • Manage scholar profiles
  • Disseminate research news
  • Provide updates on grants
  • Create newsletters
  • Highlight publications
  • Produce short faculty videos
  • Generate new articles covering various aspects of VinUniversity Research
  • Review current news and draft updates as necessary

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated interest in science communication
  • Well-developed writing and self-editing skills.
  • Experience working with film or video preferred, either in a scriptwriting or production capacity.

Additional Information

This position is based in Hanoi, but the work may be done fully or primarily remotely. The contract is at least one year and will automatically renew for successive one-year periods.
