VinUniversity is seeking a Research Collaborator under a service contract to support research management and capacity building, especially in relations to the use of PIVOT-RP.
POSITION INFORMATION
Position title: Research Collaborator
Contract type: Service Contract
Contract duration: 03 months (object to extension)
Work location: VinUniversity campus or other agreed locations, with regular coordination via email and online communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
- Review and develop user and administrator guidelines for the PIVOT-RP system.
- Review and support VinUni full-time faculty in building their profiles on the PIVOT-RP system, ensuring alignment with their expertise and research directions.
- Provide guidance to VinUni full-time faculty on how to effectively use PIVOT-RP.
- Establish at least three research groups on the PIVOT-RP system.
- Study and propose options for integrating internal research proposal calls within the PIVOT-RP system.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Research Management Office (RMO).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in relevant fields (research management, administration, social sciences, or related disciplines).
- Knowledge of or experience working with research information management systems, academic databases, or research funding opportunity platforms (experience with PIVOT-RP is preferred).
- Strong skills in information synthesis, development of user guides, and user support.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with and support faculty in an international academic environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.
- Proficient in English for professional communication.
