The Research Management Office (RMO) plays a central role in supporting the University’s research ecosystem by facilitating research development, strengthening research capacity, and enhancing research communication and dissemination.
To support ongoing research development and communication initiatives, VinUniversity is seeking a Research Collaborator Officer under a service contract to work closely with the Research Management Office.
POSITION INFORMATION
- Position title: Research Collaborator Officer
- Department: Research Management Office (RMO)
- Contract type: Service Contract
- Contract duration: February 2026 – June 30, 2026
- Working hours: Up to 44 hours per week
- Work location: VinUniversity campus (with flexibility depending on work arrangements)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Research Collaborator Officer will support research development, coordination, and communication activities at VinUniversity. Key responsibilities include:
1. Researcher Development Programs
- Support the coordination and implementation of researcher development programs, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders in developing research training courses, including course preparation, recording, pilot implementation, and evaluation.
- Support the organization of research workshops and seminar series, including speaker coordination, logistics, and event documentation.
- Maintain and update research support materials and resources on the Research Portal (SharePoint) and other platforms.
2. Research and Innovation Communication
- Curate and archive research stories for institutional reporting and communication purposes.
- Manage and update content on the research.vinuni.edu.vn website to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the editing and production of institutional research publications, including the Research Magazine (June 2026 issue) and Research Newsletter (June 2026 issue).
- Contribute to the organization and communication of research-related events such as Research Townhall, Research Fair, Open Day, seminars, and other academic events.
3. Research Collaboration and Co-funding Programs
- Assist in compiling and reviewing research proposals submitted by VinUniversity faculty and partner institutions.
- Support the preparation of calls for proposals and related templates for collaborative research funding programs.
- Provide coordination support for the implementation of research co-funding initiatives.
4. Other Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks related to research development and coordination as assigned by the Research Management Office leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as education, communications, social sciences, public policy, or related disciplines.
- Prior experience in research administration, research communication, higher education, or project coordination is preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in an academic environment.
- Familiarity with academic research processes or digital content management platforms is an advantage.
