VinUniversity is seeking a Research Collaborator under a service contract to support the implementation of the ODA Research Management Capacity Strengthening Programme supported under the UK Government’s International Science Partnerships Fund and classified as Official Development Assistance  and related research activities. 

 POSITION INFORMATION 

Position title: Research Collaborator
Program: ODA Research Management Capacity Strengthening Programme supported under the UK Government’s International Science Partnerships Fund and classified as Official Development Assistance
Contract type: Service Contract
Contract duration: 06 months (tentatively)
Work location: VinUniversity campus or other agreed locations, with regular coordination via email and online communication. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Research Collaborator will contribute to the implementation of the ODA Research Management Capacity Strengthening Programme supported under the UK Government’s International Science Partnerships Fund and classified as Official Development Assistance, with key responsibilities as follows: 

• Co-design and finalize survey instruments and in-depth interview questionnaires. 
• Create the survey form on VinUni’s Microsoft Forms platform. 
• Implement and monitor the survey data collection process. 
• Prepare the list of interviewees, coordinate, and conduct in-depth interviews. 
• Translate documents between English and Vietnamese when required. 
• Take notes and compile interview data. 
• Clean the survey dataset and deliver the finalized dataset. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Basic knowledge or experience in research methods, including survey design, in-depth interviews, and data collection and processing. 
• Strong skills in organizing and implementing online surveys, as well as compiling and cleaning datasets (proficiency in Microsoft Forms and Excel is preferred). 
• Ability to 
• use English for work purposes (reading comprehension and document translation) and work carefully and proactively to ensure project timelines are met.
