ABOUT VINUNIVERSITY

As part of its commitment to advancing research excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration, VinUniversity aims to build research management capacity. 

The Research Management Office (RMO) requires additional capacity to support the development and implementation of research-related initiatives aligned with the objectives of the Vision 2030 Program. At the same time, there is a need to review, evaluate, and update existing research policies to ensure they remain relevant and aligned with VinUni’s research development goals. Recruiting a collaborator will help provide dedicated support for these tasks and ensure the timely and effective implementation of RMO activities. 

 POSITION INFORMATION 

Position title: Research Collaborator
Contract type: Service Contract
Contract duration: 04 months (object to extension)
Work location: VinUniversity campus or other agreed locations, with regular coordination via email and online communication. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

The collaborator will undertake the following main tasks under the framework of Campaign 135: 

• Support the Research Management Office (RMO) in developing and implementing research-related initiatives that contribute to the Vision 2030 Program. 
• Assist RMO in reviewing, assessing, revising, and updating research policies issued by RMO. 
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Head of RMO. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Knowledge of or experience in research management, research policy, or administration in higher education environments. 
• Strong skills in research, policy analysis, document review, information synthesis, and proposing adjustments when necessary. 
• Ability to work proactively, collaborate with relevant stakeholders, and communicate effectively in English in an academic environment.
