[Job Opportunity] Coordinator cum Communications – Center for Environmental Intelligence

Position Summary: The Center for Environmental Intelligence at VinUniversity seeks a creative and analytically minded Coordinator cum Communications to produce high-quality visual content and effectively communicate complex research findings. This role combines graphic design skills with an understanding of environmental research to create compelling marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create visually appealing graphic designs and infographics to illustrate environmental research concepts and findings
  2. Develop high-quality visual content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and print materials
  3. Collaborate with researchers to understand their work and translate complex scientific information into accessible visual formats
  4. Design and produce marketing collateral such as brochures, posters, and digital assets
  5. Create and edit short videos highlighting research projects and faculty work
  6. Manage the Center’s social media presence and website content
  7. Contribute to the development of newsletters and research updates
  8. Support the creation of presentations for conferences and public events
  9. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in graphic design and visual content creation
  2. Proficiency in design software
  3. Basic understanding of environmental science concepts and research methodologies
  4. Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail
  5. Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  6. Ability to understand and simplify complex scientific information
  7. Experience with video editing software is a plus
  8. Familiarity with social media marketing and content management systems

  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  3. Strong time management and organizational skills
  4. Adaptability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  5. Keen interest in environmental issues and scientific research

Additional Information: This position is based in Hanoi, with the possibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements. The initial contract is for one year, with the potential for renewal based on performance.
