[Research Seminar]Engineers without borders: From Personalising mechanical ventilator to quantify consciousness

About the Talk:

In this talk, I am going to share my research works, and my experience working to support spinning-out ideas for a startup company named VentDx. We are in the process of creating another company to commercialise the depth of the anaesthesia monitoring system. To further provide impact and bring my research to practice, I am actively hosting and co-chairing academic activities in the UK to connect and establish the Vietnam-UK network

By sharing my own experience, I want to motivate students, and researchers to focus on strengthening their research on biomedical engineering, and digital health, and transferring their knowledge through research-led teaching programmes. I also would love to initiate collaborations across many faculties in the University and bring international collaborations to the University. To bring research outcomes to practice and make long-lasting and large-scale impacts, I believe entrepreneurship and technology transfer activities are good methods.
