About the Lecture
Welcome to our seminar on Maggot Debridement Therapy (MDT), a fascinating and effective treatment option for chronic wounds that has been used for centuries. MDT is making a comeback in modern medicine due to its proven ability to remove necrotic tissue and promote healing in various types of wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure sores, and burns. This seminar aims to provide a comprehensive overview of MDT, covering its history, mechanism of action, clinical applications, potential benefits, and limitations. Whether you are a healthcare professional or someone interested in learning about innovative medical treatments, this seminar is the perfect opportunity to explore the fascinating world of Maggot Debridement Therapy.

Research Seminar: How Linear Algebra and Optimization Is Useful for Power Industry – Dr. Riadh Zorgati

About the Seminar In this talk, we illustrate how linear algebra and optimization, with continuous or binary variables, is useful for power industry, for example for improving maintenance of power plants or for energy management. Optimization under constraints is a key approach for energy management where we aim at minimizing costs of production while respecting […]
