Team MOTION CHARGE Wins First Prize at ÉCOJEUNES 2024: Youth for a Green Future

We are incredibly proud to announce that team MOTION CHARGE from VinUniversity has won First Prize at the ÉCOJEUNES 2024 – Youth Committed to a Green Future competition! The grand finale of this exciting event took place during the Franconomics 2024 International Forum, with the theme “Renewable Energy: A Scenario for a Green Future,” held at VinUniversity on October 16, 2024.

The VinUniversity team, consisting of Tô Đông Anh Khoa, Dương Tuấn Mạnh, Đàm Thị Xuân Giao, Nguyễn Quỳnh Lam, Võ Nguyễn Bảo Khánh, and Phạm Xuân Thanh impressed the judges with their project. This solution utilizes Triboelectric Nano Generator (TENG) technology to convert human motion into sustainable energy, offering a novel approach to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. After a dynamic presentation and Q&A session, the team secured the top prize, showcasing their dedication to creating a greener future.

This achievement highlights the commitment and talent of VinUniversity students in addressing pressing environmental challenges. It also reflects the university’s dedication to fostering young innovators who are ready to make a difference in the world.

About the ÉCOJEUNES 2024 Competition

ÉCOJEUNES 2024 was launched by the International Francophone Institute (IFI) at Vietnam National University in collaboration with the Center for Environmental Intelligence (CEI) at VinUniversity, the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), 2IF at Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University, and Schoolab Vietnam. The competition aimed to discover and support innovative ideas from young people aged 15-30, focusing on environmental protection, renewable energy, and sustainability.

Participants from Francophone countries submitted projects exploring practical solutions in renewable energy, eco-friendly products, and environmental education. The most creative and impactful projects advanced to the finals, where they were presented directly to the judges at the Franconomics 2024 Forum.
