Biography

Hue Thi Hoang, RN, MN brings over a decade of experience in nursing education and clinical practice in Vietnam, where she has actively participated in projects focused on improving the quality of teaching and learning in nursing education. She completed her Master of Nursing degree and is currently completing her Doctoral degree at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. This combination of extensive educational background, clinical experience, and international training provides Mrs Hue with a strong foundation to continuously develop her career and contribute to the enhancement of nursing education.

Australian Alumni Grants Fund/Aus4skills-Round 4-00125 (2022) for the project titled “COVID 19 and Nursing education: Strengthening nurse lecturers’ teaching capacities and learning environments for new normal” which was conducted with a group of Australian Alumni in Vietnam.

The project initiated a series of capacity-building workshops for lecturers from undergraduate nursing schools in Vietnam. Through these workshops, the project has offered 25 nursing teachers from five universities across Vietnam an opportunity to acquire new nursing education methods and models that can be adapted to the post-COVID normality. Additionally, the project has published a handbook titled “Comprehensive Teaching and Learning Methods in Nursing Education: A Training of Trainer Handbook,” providing in-depth guidelines on flexible nursing education
