MEDICAL SIMULATION CENTER DIRECTOR
Dr. Nguyen Hoang Long gained his Bachelor of Nursing from Hanoi Medical University. With other colleagues, he founded the first-in-country Bachelor of Nursing program at a private institution, enabling the involvement of private sectors in higher education for nurses nation-wide. At VinUni, he has been serving as the Chief of Curriculum Development and then Program Director of the Nursing program.
MEDICAL SIMULATION CENTER MANAGER
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Viet graduated Bachelor of Civil Engineering in 2008 at National University of Civil Engineering, Bachelor of Laws in 2018 at Hanoi Law University and Master of Business Administration in 2014 at La Trobe University (Australia). Regarding his work experience, Mr Viet joined Vinmec Healthcare System since 2015. In September 2017, Mr Viet has promoted as Chief Operating Officer of Vinmec Medical Simulation Center, leading the establishment and development of this center. He has had a great contribution in the strategic partnership between VMSC with MSR – World-class Medical Simulation Center, helped develop many simulation-based medical education programs, and supported VMSC to become the official International Training Center of AHA in Vietnam.
TECHNICIAN
Mr. Doan Thanh Hieu has graduated from Hanoi University of Business and Management and majored in Information System Management. He has over 15 years of working experience in Information System. He has worked for VMSC from the beginning and he is one of the key members who contributed significantly to the design and technology development of VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center.
Doan Thanh Hieu is currently working as a technician and he is responsible for managing all facilities and devices of VMSC.
TECHNICIAN
Ms. Bui Thi Hien graduated from Hanoi Medical University with the major in nursing in 2017. She also completed the specialists training in MSR- Israel in logistics and operation in medical simulation fields in 2018. At the VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center, she had contributed in supporting a large number of simulation courses to ensure the quality of these.
CLINICAL EDUCATION TRAINER
Mr. Khac Linh currently works at the College of Health Sciences at VinUniversity as a Clinical Instructor of Simulation Center and helps coordinate training activities at the Simulation Center. Khac Linh holds a medical diploma with honors from Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and a PALS Instructor Certificate from MSR – Israel Center for Medical Simulation Center. Before joining the Simulation Center, Khac Linh worked at Vinmec International Hospital Times City as a neonatologist.
CLINICAL EDUCATION TRAINER
Ms. Tran Thuy Duong graduated with a Bachelor in Nursing from Hai Phong Medical University in 2009, then completed a Master of Nursing in QUT, Australia in 2015. Before joining the VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center, she worked as a nurse teacher, and has built up to 10 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development for the Nursing Undergraduate program. She also got more experience in competence-based curriculum design and development when she participated in MOH’s projects for strengthening training capacity of nursing schools such as SMS, AP/QUT stage 2 or HPET.
TECHNICIAN
Mr. Kieu Thanh Hieu has joined VMSC after eight years of working experience as an IT Technician at the Singapore International school. Mr. Hieu is passionate about technology and is devoted to improve his skills and knowledge about new technologies. He enjoys assisting others with issues regarding their devices, including installing, configuring, setting up devices, maintaining, and finding solutions to customize requirement types, allowing them to perform daily tasks more effectively.
TRAINING OFFICER
Ms. Vu Hong Hanh has the master’s degree of Environmental Engineering at Dongguk University, Seoul, Korea. She has excellent experience working for educational organizations. She has shown her passionate in researching, academic support, and administration. At Vin University Medical Simulation Center, she is charge of coordinating training activities, performing procedures in administration and accounting.
TRAINING OFFICER
Ms. Hoang Thi Ngoc Anh has been involved in nursing and public health education for her career. Before taking part in Simulation Center as a training officer, she had 6-year working experience at the private hospital in Hanoi and 1 year working as a teaching assistant at college in Bangkok.
TRAINING OFFICER
Ms. Vu Thu Ha received a BSc degree in Public Health from Hanoi University of Public Health, Vietnam, in 2018. Ha has over four years of work experience in medical higher education. In her most recent position, she coordinates education and administrative activities for the graduate program in student affairs, examination and quality assurance. She used to have experience in organizing short–term courses.
