The position is recruited to support the development of a project proposal for a series of interdisciplinary mini-courses in Social Sciences and Environment at VinUni. Dedicated capacity is needed to conduct research, benchmark existing programs, and develop a comprehensive proposal that meets academic standards and institutional needs. Recruiting a collaborator will help ensure the proposal is developed in a timely and high-quality manner, serving as a foundation for future course implementation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

The collaborator will undertake the following main tasks:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prepare a\u00a0<\/span>project proposal for developing a series of\u00a0mini-courses\u00a0in Social Sciences and Environment<\/span><\/b>, with the potential to be developed into courses that can be implemented by academic institutes and research centers at\u00a0VinUni. Specifically:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Objective:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Develop a comprehensive project proposal for an interdisciplinary mini-course series focusing on social sciences and environmental topics. The proposal should ensure feasibility, meet academic standards, and address educational needs.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Key tasks:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Research and information gathering:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Review and analyze existing courses in social sciences and environmental studies in Vietnam and internationally;\u00a0identify\u00a0content gaps and learner needs; summarize key findings and data to inform the proposal.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develop the proposal content:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0Prepare the proposal draft and collect feedback from relevant stakeholders.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Revise and\u00a0finalize\u00a0the proposal<\/span><\/b>\u00a0based on feedback received.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Present the final proposal<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0submit\u00a0all related documentation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Deliverables:<\/span><\/b> A comprehensive\u00a0<\/span>project proposal<\/span><\/b>, including project overview, curriculum framework for the mini-course series, implementation plan, budget and financial analysis, and any supporting documents (if applicable).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    QUALIFICATIONS<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Knowledge of or experience in\u00a0<\/span>training content development or course design<\/span><\/b>, preferably in sustainability, social sciences, environmental studies, or education.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong skills in\u00a0<\/span>research, literature synthesis, and academic content development<\/span><\/b>, including lectures, discussion questions, assignments, and learning materials.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to\u00a0<\/span>write and present content clearly, collaborate with the course design team, and use English effectively<\/span><\/b>\u00a0to consult international references.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
