[WORKSHOP RECAP] <\/strong>TRAINING COURSE: \u201cMATHS BEHIND AI MODELS\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

When Google (as well as Microsoft, and Facebook) continuously lays off thousands of software engineer and coding team every month,it raises an important question: \u201cWhat should we learn or do in the age of ML\/AI ?\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n

This is the main reason why the training course \u201cMaths behind AI models\u201d has been organized. Inspiringly we have succeeded in transforming to researchers, students two key notes: <\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. At this time, editing and running a complex script (containing hundreds of lines) could be easily done by one click. Pytorch’s coding libraries are now almost completely developed and more importantly it’s open access.<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. The core problem of ML\/AI today lies in the data pre-processing stage: converting all physical signal into numerical information so that computers can learn and work. This is specific to each type of database and requires either the “knowledge” or “know-how” of scientists\/researchers in their narrow fields.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    More than 40 lecturers, researcher, graduated students from several universities and organizations: Vin University (VinUni), HaNoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), HaNoi University of Pharmacy (HUP),\u00a0 Hanoi National University of Education (HUE), Hanoi University of Science (HUS) have registered, attended and excited in what they have obtained in this class.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Mr. V\u00f5 T\u1ef1 \u0110\u1ee9c (Google Workspace Developer Expert) has appreciatively commented, when he had a change to join us: \u201cAI without computer is what we should learn urgently”.<\/em><\/p>\n

    \u00a0Those are at all the happiness of VinUni and organizers.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Science knows no borders \u2013 let\u2019s keep the momentum alive!<\/em><\/p>\n

    On\u00a0May<\/strong> 13-14-15<\/strong>, 2025<\/strong>, the training course titled\u00a0\u201c<\/strong>MATHS BEHIND AI MODELS<\/strong>\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0took place successfully in Room C202 at\u00a0VinUniversity, Hanoi<\/strong>, instructed by\u00a0Professor Nguy\u1ec5n Minh Th\u1ecd (KU Leuven)<\/strong> and Dr. Nguy\u1ec5n S\u1ef9 Tu\u00e2n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
