As the Director of the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute, a collaboration between CU Boulder and the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory, he focuses on organic materials for applications like OLEDs and organic solar cells. Known as a &#8220;living encyclopedia of human knowledge,&#8221; Prof. Marder has received numerous prestigious accolades, including the Humboldt Research Award.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Marina Freitag<\/strong> (Newcastle University):<br \/>\nAn award-winning expert in sustainable energy technologies, Prof. Freitag specializes in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) with advanced low-dimensional coordination polymers. Her groundbreaking DSSC technology achieves record efficiency under ambient light, making it a significant step forward in renewable energy. In recognition of her contributions, she received the 2022 Harrison-Meldola Memorial Prize from the Royal Society of Chemistry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>About VinFuture 2024 Science and Technology Week<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>This seminar is part of a series of discussions hosted during <strong>VinFuture 2024<\/strong>, a week-long celebration (December 4\u20137, 2024) in Hanoi.
