These appointments reflect Penn’s commitment to VinUni as we move to this next phase of our residency programs – one of paired leadership and mentorship. You will recall that we previously announced the appointment of Dr. Tuyet (VinUni) and Dr. Paul (Penn) as co-PD of the Internal Medicine Residency program. Our primary goal in this effort is to nurture VinUni faculty of Vietnamese heritage into leadership positions, this to maintain the highest standards of quality while simultaneously fostering long-term sustainability of VinUni’s education programs.
