Ha Minh Thuy, MD, MHPE

Dr. Ha Minh Thuy currently serves as Medical Education Officer at College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity. After graduation from medical school in 2011, Dr. Thuy had several years working in oncology department of private hospitals and recently joining medical education area when she became VinUniversity Health Sciences team member since 2017. Within this position, she has contributed to design the curriculum for Medical Doctor training including assessment needs, competency establishment, curriculum framework, teaching and learning materials development, etc. In early 2019, Dr. Thuy was appointed to be Curriculum Development Manager to oversee curriculum for MD program. She is the second Vietnamese to be accepted in the International Fellowship program at FAIMER Institute, Philadelphia, US with fully funded scholarship. The program is focusing on health professional education supported by the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER)  a non – profit foundation of the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Dr. Thuy is a member of multiple professional associations such as AMEE (An International Association for Medical Education), TUFH (The Network: Towards Unity for Health), WMIA (The Medical Women’s International Association), etc. Since May, 2022, Dr. Thuy has been offered in Master degree of Health Professional Education in Maastricht University, Netherlands with the aims to develop further to be the leader in educational role.
