VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center (VMSC) aims to improve health professionals‘ clinical and communication skills, contributing to the advancement of healthcare quality through creating a safer, more human medical care and treatment and a patient-centered culture.

With the vision to become a leading Simulation-Based Medical Education in Vietnam and the Asia region, VinUniversity Medical Simulation Center offers various training programs to healthcare professionals. It is recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) as an International Training Centre (ITC) for HeartSaver, BLS, ACLS, and PALS courses in Vietnam.

VinUniverstity is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Clinical Training Officer at the Medical Simulation Center.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Officer coordinates the education and administrative activities of VMSC in his/her assigned areas.

Education

  • Develop new training courses as planned.
  • Offer direct teaching to the learners in the assigned areas.
  • Conduct students/faculty evaluations.
  • Coordinates the teaching capacity development for other faculty in the assigned areas.
  • Support faculty during their teaching at Sim center.

Administration

  • Prepare and implement annual and monthly educational plans and relevant budgets.
  • Monitor and report education activities to the line manager.
  • Ensure all aspects of the assigned activities adhere to the SSH’s accreditation requirement.
  • Collaborate with relevant individuals/offices/programs to maintain educational infrastructures/equipment and to prepare and implement relevant training activities as required.
  • Support the line manager with other center-wide activities such as marketing and sale, external engagement, and monitoring and reports, etc.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Center’s Director.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • An undergraduate degree in nursing or medicine. A postgraduate degree in health sciences is preferable.
  • Proven work experience in health education. Experience in Simulation-based education is highly appreciated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
