The Research Communication & Event Team at VinUniversity is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to support research communication and event-related activities. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communication, event organization, and project support in a professional academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing content for research-related social media channels.
- Support event planning and organization, including logistics, content promotion, and on-site coordination.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of technical activities: document formatting, uploading to platforms, records management (e-filing), and knowledge management toward project completion
- Help organize internal meetings and project events (preparation, minute-taking, coordinating participants, arranging logistics for field missions)
- Participate in weekly team meetings, technical exchanges, and external meetings/workshops organized by partners
- Assist with technical tasks such as developing ideas/concepts, drafting terms of reference/meeting minutes, data collection, and desk research.
- Provide translation support (Vietnamese – English and vice versa) when needed.
Requirements:
- Final-year student or recent graduate (within 6 months) from bachelor’s or postgraduate programs in relevant fields: Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or International Relations.
- Available for a full-time internship (44 hours/week).
- Strong communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
- Proficient in MS Office with good organizational and analytical skills.
- Proactive, motivated to learn, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Responsible, flexible, and goal-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or prior experience in research-related work.
- Skills in design or video production.
- Interest in sustainable development.
- Previous experience in international development cooperation.
- Commitment to spreading VinUniversity’s values in striving toward a sustainable future for Vietnam.
