"How to Apply to Leading Graduate Schools in the U.S." is a public event co-hosted by VinUniversity Project and the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi on October 16, 2019. This is the first time leading U.S. professors from Cornell University who serve as Program Development Directors of the VinUniversity Project will share with the prospective students the ways to apply to graduate schools in the U.S. Participants will learn from these renowned professors on how to prepare an application package to graduate schools in the U.S., the diversity of degrees and institutions, how to write a statement of purpose or what the graduate admission committee looks for from a letter of recommendation.

Applicants of the Vingroup Science and Technology Scholarship Program for Master’s and Ph.D. degrees especially those who plan to apply to graduate schools in the U.S. will find this session of great significance as they prepare for the university application process. In addition, participants will also know that the chance of going to top U.S. universities will be further enhanced with the Vingroup Scholarship awards.

Mission of the Vingroup Science and Technology Scholarship Program for Master’s and Ph.D. degrees is to find talents and develop them further and provide them with rewarding opportunities so that they have the ability to lead and advance the development of science and technology in Vietnam in the future. From 2019 to 2030, Vingroup will offer 1,100 fully funded scholarships for master’s and doctoral study programs (up to 100 full scholarships per annum) for Vietnamese talents to study key areas at excellent universities in countries with leading science and technology including the U.S. Applicants of the Vingroup Science and Technology Scholarship Program for Overseas study for Master’s and Doctoral Degrees are strongly encouraged to attend the event.

The event has been posted on the U.S. Embassy’s website at the following link: https://vn.usembassy.gov/educationusa-hanoi-public-events/.
