Art Appreciation Course in collaboration with VinVivid (student photography club) and Vinci House of Arts (student art club) proudly presents to you “Nhãn” Art Exhibition which will open for viewing from tomorrow.
You are cordially invited to attend the **opening ceremony on Wednesday (tomorrow), 31st May at 4:00pm, in B104-106 **(entry on the right side of Auditorium). This exhibition is happening during the IGNITE active learning week. We do hope staff and faculty members would spare some time to attend the exhibition which will be open for one week.
“Nhãn” has double meanings in Vietnamese language: 1. longan fruit, 2. a view/sight (eyes). At this exhibition viewers will be treated to the colorful artworks created by our very own students coming from all four colleges. Nhãn has three parts representing three layers of the fruit:
-
the skin – tote bag designs (as part of fashion design work)
-
the meat – tuồng masks (as part of Vietnamese traditional artwork)
-
the seed/stone – street photography (as part of VinVivid work).
This exhibition is curated, designed and constructed by VinUni students led by Le Vu Quang Huy (CBM) and Nguyen Hoang Thinh (CECS).
