Discover Vietnam with VinUni: Welcoming NUS Faculty and Students Once Again

May 23, 2025
Following the success of last year’s program, VinUni Global Engagement Department is honored to host 41 students, faculty, and staff from Sheares Hall, National University of Singapore (NUS) for the NUS Southeast Asia Friendship Initiative (SFI) Program from 13 to 23 May 2025.
NUS has specifically chosen Vietnam and VinUni as their destination among Southeast Asian countries to promote cross-cultural understanding, regional awareness, and global citizenship among students with a focus on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) including sustainability, eco-tourism, and innovation.
Over 10 enriching days, participants will explore Vietnam’s vibrant culture, innovation, and sustainable development through academic sessions, field visits and company visits including Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ha Long Bay, VinFast Manufacturing Factory, VISP Hai Phong and Vietnam Singapore Cooperation Center and among other academic and culture exchange activities.
With diverse academic backgrounds spanning social sciences, engineering, and business, this cohort will deepen cross-border collaboration while experiencing Vietnam’s dynamic growth firsthand.
This program not only deepens understanding of Vietnam’s socio-economic landscape but also strengthens collaboration between Vietnam and Singapore.
