VinMaker Society is the first engineering society at VinUniversity. We aim for the development of students’ skills in engineering, through various creative projects and industry events.
VinUni Research Club (VRC) aims to create an active learning environment where the core values of “EXCELLENCE” are highly encouraged. This club attracts a cohort of students who have the desire to improve themselves by enhancing their knowledge about research, collaboration skills and exploring different research pathways through workshops with professors. Moreover, we want to gather similar-minded individuals across the 3 colleges to deepen our understanding of each school while having quality and memorable moments through the club’s meetings and activities.
VinDebate Community is established for VinUnians who are interested in debate and public speaking. By creating a FREWS community for sharing ideas, we aim to help students not only access, but also practice and apply debate into their academic lives.

VinUni Badminton Club is first and foremost a safe haven where students can immerse themselves in physical activities to alleviate academic stress. Delving deeper, the club is a place where students can enhance their fitness in general, and improve their badminton skills regardless of whether their objective is to have fun, or to play badminton as a competitive sport. Finally, the club wishes to develop members’ soft skills as well as adopting and spreading VinUni’s EXCEL spirit.
VinUni Football Team wants every member to feel like they are part of a big family. A team means that we can connect to others, show empathy to each other, and improve our skills and abilities together. We also hope to spark the football passion inside each member, gradually developing football so that it will become even more popular for future generations of VinUni students and Staff.
Despite being called a “basketball team”, we are a club consisting of different people across all 3 colleges. We want to re-emphasize the VinUni slogan, “University of Excellence, Developing Talents for the Future.” Our club will support and develop the extra-curricular, non-academic skills of students. Moreover, we want to create a safe and vibrant playground for those who share the passion for basketball and thrive to stay healthy throughout their university years and beyond.
VinUni Harmony is founded by a group of first-year students from VinUniversity with an aim to create a community for those who have a strong passion for music. We will learn through weekly practices in the studio, annual music shows, and more. The club has three main activities: VinUniversity event performances, minishows, and VinUni’s Got Talent. Additionally, we have weekly practices to improve member performance, or MVs for special events, as well as musical productions on our own YouTube/ SoundCloud channel. Generally, our club aspires to build a second home where VinUni students can learn and cement their experiences through music.

VinViVid is a Photography and Graphic Design Club formed by a group of first- generation VinUnians to connect students and share interest for the arts. VinViVid would be the best way to capture memorable, emotional moments at VinUni through the lens of a camera.
On-set prides itself as the sole videography club within the VinUni community. We welcome any individuals sharing a passion for movies who want to engage in the art of filmmaking. Official members will have a chance to receive semi-professional training on advanced cinematography.
VinUni Human Resources Club (VinHRC) aims to help prepare students for their future job by nurturing the skill sets required for job hunting and job performance. The club will serve as a hub that offers reliable and insightful resources about study fields and skills, and the job market. Through our activities, HRC hopes that we can help you to understand yourself and refine your skills, thus narrowing the school-to-work gap. With this, you would be adequately prepared for your future career.
VinUni Business Insiders (VBI) is a student-led academic club established for like-minded individuals who want to acquire and share business knowledge. We aim to provide for students a community and environment for gaining business insights from the experts, and from one another. The club acts as a bridge connecting students with the industry, allowing students to observe real business cases for future applications.

VinUni Chess Club strives to form a close-knit space where chess players can freely engage in their hobby, train for tournaments, and socialize with other intellectually compatible individuals. In our weekly meetings, members can try any forms of chess, from a classical 90-minute match to 5-minute Blitz, or all sorts of quirky yet entertaining variants (3-Check, Fog of War, Bongcloud, etc.). Whether you are looking for a serious challenge or just want a fun and light-hearted afternoon destroying your friends with gambits, we have it all. Most importantly, our club aims to promote chess to the whole student community, possibly transforming it from a fleeting interest to a life-long passion.
PRISM (People Respecting Individuality, Sexuality and Multi-perspectives) is an inclusive club at VinUni aiming to provide a safe space for community engagement in sexuality and sex education. It creates a learning and sharing environment for matters related to sexual orientations, diversity, and health.
