[Work-Study Orientation Workshop] The First Meeting of the “Colleagues”

✔️What do the university and work-study supervisors expect of us in the program?
✔️What skills can you learn through this job?
✔️Who is on your team?
✔️How can a team be productive and create value?

These are the questions that Ms. Pham Thanh Hao – Human Resources Director of VinUniversity asked in the first meeting with 50 students selected to participate in the work-study program. Here, Professor Rohit Verma – Founding Provost of VinUniversity and Ms. Hao shared about the orientation, responsibility, and professionalism in a work environment.

Professor Rohit Verma emphasized that the core value of the program is to allow students to learn, practice a sense of responsibility and professional work ethics. During the program, students will indiscriminately be a true colleague to staff and faculty. Furthermore, from understanding their role and assuming responsibilities, students can also develop beyond expertise, into corporate culture and job compliances.

The talk did not stop at providing information but also inspired many students who are and will work in VinUniversity to become citizens with awareness, creative thinking, and aspiration to contribute to the country.
