Self-Exploration: Know Yourself To Plan Your Career

Planning a career path is more about choosing a job that generates income. A person needs to understand the link between self-exploration and their career decisions, discover interest themes and match them with their current study major or future occupations.

The self-exploration workshop is led by Ms. Hang Le, a Certified Career Services Provider with 18 years of work experience in Community & Human development and 14 years working with international organizations.

This session helps you to find answers to questions such as “What you are?” and “What you really want to be?”. It guides you through efficient ways to explore yourself and discover your interest themes using the Riasec Model and Holland Code.

Being aware of useful tools and resources for career planning is also crucial. The workshop recommends resources such as Truity, 16 personalities, or take skills assessments to find out your strengths, human values, and professional ethics.

Learn more about career planning models, self-exploration, recommended career assessments, and interest themes in this guide and recap video of this workshop (log-in required).
